I went to my local Samash this past weekend. There really weren't very many good deals after their closing mark down. I ended up spending something like $45 on some random parts and picks that were around 10% off. That said, I like Sam Ash and it's a bummer to see them go, but I can understand with how businesses operate these days.

The Temu app is annoying because they entice you with savings games that one gradually realizes try to hook you into buying more and more and are keeping you from buying what you actually came there for. You don't get this, at least not as much, on the website. I did just order the Mini Universe, though. Can't beat that shimmer for $26 and I'm also not such a connoisseur of reverbs (though I love them) that I listen for the spring-driven "drip" in surf music. I guess that makes sense, though, because when you come out of the ocean after surfing, you're dripping. Tempted to buy 2 to put the swell behind the shimmer at the same time.

If it bent the oppisit way at the plug and had 2 little flanges on it. the knob wouldn't be interacting with the body of the guitar it would be less obtrusive as mosy guitars jacks sprout directly from the edge, you'd think they know that, also God gave rock n'roll to you.

There's a problem with the neck pickup in Squier Starcaster Classic Vibes - the pole pieces are too widely separated. You can see it in this video - the bass E string's magnet is not under the string. So in the guitar in the video, you get barely any sound from the fat strings in the neck pickup. Mine's the opposite (Squier Starcaster Classic Vibe); the treble E string magnet is not under the string. I see two problems here: poor design with poles spaced too widely, and inconsistent manufacture.
